I’m obsessed with creativity, technology and progress. My passion is bringing those things together in the process of telling great stories…
I currently work at ABC News were I help facilitate logistical planning/transmission/operations for the various news stories we cover. As the Senior Manager of the News Acquisition Center, my personal mission includes creatively bringing new efficiencies and innovations to the newsgathering process.
Some work highlights over the last few years include coordinating logistics on the ground in Boston after the marathon bombings, in Japan after the earthquake of 2011, in the Philippines after the typhoon of 2013, and in Tampa during the 2012 Republican National Convention. Additionally, I have helped coordinate coverage from the bureau for events such as: The Haiti earthquake, the Miracle on the Hudson, the Fort Hood shooting, various hurricanes, the death of Osama Bin Laden and more. I’ve also established and implemented new news management systems at ABC News and generally focus on improving workflows to make the business of newsgathering more effective. I believe that making things as efficient and clean as possible allows people to concentrate more thoroughly on their creative aspirations.

More about me…
I grew up in Germany until my family moved to South Carolina when I was 11. Since then I have also lived in Syracuse, New York City, Washington DC, and now New York City again (with my fantastic wife Rachel and Jack, our bassador). I love photography & videography and have a Canon 60D camera kit. I try to find as much time to work on video projects in addition to my full-time job and will be publishing them on the site as they get done. My other passions are travel and aviation. I recently became a Private Pilot and plan to share the joys of flying with as many people as I can coerce to jump into a Cessna with me.
